The non-profit was created by Fahr and Jamie Juneja after their daughter, Eva, passed away due to Walker-Warburg Syndrome (WWS). WWS is a rare genetic disease associated with Congenital Muscular Dystrophy.  It involves abnormalities of the muscles, brain and eyes; and ultimately, a short life expectancy. 

After learning of the Juneja family story, the symbolic branding was created. In short, it is a representation of Eva that provides a sense of hope to those who are connected to children with WWS.
